cannot continue past character selection

I\'m having the same problem too.  After I made my new character I got in fine, but an admin was saying that the server was going to be reset to fix a couple of files and that we should try to log back in in a couple minutes.  I didn\'t try again for a few hours, and now I can only get to the character selection screen and no further.   I hear the music and all and hear the click sound when I click on the buttons but nothing happens.  I let it sit for about 15 minutes and still no change.

EDIT: I just uninstalled and reinstalled and now I can make a new character, but I\'m still unable to get past the character selection screen with my first character.  I haven\'t gone through trying a different character yet though.

i played the game once two days ago and then yesterday when i tried to join the game like the rest of these people i could not join. i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and the same thing still happned. i also did updates before i logged in each time to see if it was that before and after the reinstall.

Can someone help? Remeber, people have been mistaking us for hearing the IN GAMEMUSIC! NO! We are hearing the login music, and I\'m pretty sure its not lag that is the problem. I guess the meaning of this post is \"bump.\"

And yes, the first thing most peoploe think of is whether or not we restart our client. IT JUST DOESN\'t respond. I\'m not even able to create a new char or even go back. Just quit.

Every time im in the char select screen i can quit and whenever i try to do sumting else it doesnt work and makes a strange noise like im pressing a button and it saying no

I tried making a new character and radomising everything.. that one works no problem.. but the first one I made (Name is Kampai with no last name) still can\'t enter the game.  That would be the one that all my stuff got transfered to also  X(
