could be possible a linux installer for the server? The official only server it\'s lagging and give a lot of connection problems and i\'d like to test the game better even if it\'s mean i have to put my own server.

No, I won\'t release a version of the server. Reasons:
1. The devs don\'t want \'wild\' PS servers out there.
2. You may only connect to \'official\' servers.
3. You would have a clean DB without monsters, NPCs, items, etc. and therefore empty and boring maps.
4. The devs wouldn\'t hand out a dump of the official DB.

Correction to #3: You would only have the small npcroom with a smithy, due to \'cvs\' DB, and you would need to modify the DB to get all other maps.

Dude I believe that it was a loki installer for the server that Karosh won\'t release, anyway AFAIK Planeshift is released under GPL so anyone can do what they like with it

I have been busy the last days, so I\'m currently not uptodate with the versions and stuff. It\'s morning, I\'m at work and I\'m quite busy. Give me some time to get back home.

And sure, you can do with the source what you want... EXCEPT for running your own instance of PS publically. If you want it for your LAN party, fine, but then compile it by yourself and DO NOT make it accessible to the general public. I do not want to get into trouble because of this by releasing a server.

Hi!

I\'m having Ubuntu / version / update issues. I\'m new to the game, so i downloaded the newest client (3.000.7) and also updater (link) from the first page. As you probably know i get this cute annoying mesage about version incompatibilty...

I just wonder if someone with Ubuntu got this right?

Install curl
Your updater script had a bug which didn\'t abort on the error, but this is fixed now.
