so here is my first try
...ok, the textures are bad painted..and mirrored...
and, ok, ok the original has much better textures...
but yeah...it was a try...and I am tired now :)







ArcaneFalon : Yeah, your right, but I dont want really to animate him
...and to import him to the crystal enginge
...hmm...woah...much work....but maybe later... ;)

*shrugs at arcane* I think it looks awesome. *stands back to look at it as a whole. Darn shame that it won\'t be an addition to the planeshift models. It looks quite stunning IMO.

I think it looks great too. The only qualm I have is his arms/hands... way too skinny, they look too human. If you look at the concept sketch, the arms are thick, the hands are huge and bulky. Like they should be, imo.

Man the Kran looks awesome better than the in game one i think personally to bad your not gonna work on it much but it would be great to see it in game. The only complaint is the abs area textures look wierd to me other that awesome work.

thx...I hope I get in the PS-Team...then I could model more and betther quality things...

....and yes, they hands are not like the concept sketch...but, a I said, I dont want to make the \"concept\"- Kran ... look at the ingame Kran...and his tiny hands....but thx 4 the criticsm!

Oh, well, if you\'re not planning on putting it in-game or animating it then why don\'t you round everything off and make a nice at least medium poly version?  Even still, it looks very good.  Mad props on the kran model. :)

I don\'t really get this sentence, I mean, do you want to say that you only can make quality stuff when you\'re in the dev team? How do you suppose to get in the dev team then? ;)

Erik: no that isn\'t what I want to say....It is diffrent when you play around with some stuff without a special direction
...or when you got a place in a Team....that a job...
and it is much more motivation for me to do high quality
stuff....shure I try all the way to do good stuff...but
sometimes I say: \" ahh...ok, it could be better...
but it will work for me\" ...and when you got some
peoples in a team or much better: hundreds of players
that plays with your created stuff...much more motivating
to try to make it perfect :)


...Arcane: Yeah...I just wanted to make a better (for me) looking \"ingame-kran\" modell .... it would be cool to import him in the crystal space engine.... but I have to figure out first how to make that.... at least, I am not a programmer ;)

well it look kinda good but... im no expert but in the pic on ps homepage the knees isnt that big it looks moe like they are inside of the leg...
and also the eyes look kinda wierd i think it would look better whit smaller ones. and one more thing the mout is more like a straight line, i think...
i know im a bit complaining but i am like that... :D
