Well, I\'d have to say that laying around sick in my bro\'s place isn\'t the ideal way to spend Valentine\'s, but I\'m not big into it anyway, so I\'ll live.

I\'m still not sure if this day was invented to make corporations happy or if there is an actual tradition to it that doesn\'t stem from commerce, but has been abused by it (like christmas)?

I know this one!  It was somethin\' about Saint Valentine.  I uh, don\'t remember what he did, but he did something really nice and that\'s why it\'s his day.  Geez, I watched a movie on this when I was a kid, and I don\'t remember a bit of it...  Sorry that\'s all I know.
