Every guild is a revival because of the wipe a year or two ago...

yeah but this was a revivial of a guild that had practicly died. As you can see when Sangwa started this thread it was mentioned ehe only had 8 members. This was becuase they were rebuilding the guild and febuary is already two months after the CB conversion so it wasn't becuase of the wipe or atleast not just becuase of that.

The Dark Empire always remained active, although less people noticed it.
I was on of the few, that remained active and were online from time to time.
Now with our leader Sangwa fully back, the guild is almost back to it's old strength, as before.
I am already for more then a year, a member of the Dark Empire.
The biggest loss, was the leaving of Setill.
Setill contributed very much to the Dark Empire, together with Sangwa.

Now lets start building the Dark Empire back to it's original size. reputation and let's continue from the point, where we became more inactive.

I've been in guilds much larger than that which had even fewer active members.... I still don't see why you're saying that the guild "practically died".  If it practically died, then why has it done so well?

There have been so many guilds that have done so well in CB who didnt work in MB. Why Dark Empire died out I don't know as I wasn't there to see that. I was only here from just before CB so only saw it rebuilding and hearing others comment on the rebuilding and how good it was to see a familiar guild return again.

Anyhow 8 members was when they were already rebuilding. How do you know how many were active? And how many of those were actually from the DE guild before it was recreated? As I remember all that happened before your time. Definately before your time with the Dark Empire.

Reason number one for dying out as I see it is inactive leadership and I did hear your empress actually is someone who used to play, so perhaps her leaving had something to do with it. Perhaps one of the DE members can think back of these old times and give information.

Nah, don't pay much attention to Meriner.
A guild is as good as it's leader and [former] vice leaders.
The leader of the DC was away for a long time too, just like Sangwa.
And look what is left from the DC.
It's better to have a few members that are dedicated, then arguements among it's members, that divide the guild in several camps.
The DE will remain stronger in mind, because of a better organisation.
The DC had a hard time too, like the DE, past year.
But i put that besides me now, because this is teritory of the Dark Empire, not the Dragon Council.

I don't know Zanzibar. Your posts probaly do count as spam but I believe my last post was simply answering your post. If you don't want an asnwer you shouldn't ask a question.

Also my post was tottally refering to the DE past in the DE thread so doesn't seem spam or even offtopic to me. But then again if you don't get your way thats a pretty often used tactic of yours

@Serem:  I had a lot of contact with Rioth when he came back after being gone.  He trusted his comanders, and they held things together.  There were various messes to clean up but things were alright.  The key is to find people you can trust so you don't have to micromanage so much.

Hehe, Setill couldn't replace Nurahk neither, It was a team work as they were same ranked. Just two different jobs.

Not sure if I will return to PS one day, I have lots of fun elsewhere, I am thinking (with herleva and Narita) about building a DE guilde like on another mmo. Still loyal to the Dark Empire even on another world, DE is in my heart
