I guess they\'re relying on the fact that everyone from their guild has a \"high\" wisdom :D

Not a very bright idea though, because they\'re actually lacking of it.

The only fact that I do not like at this guild, is that they\'re thinking to high for themselves. Way to high ...

All the charactors in this film coughs i mean guild are fictional and if by some coincedence happen to coincide with some pre-established religon, persons or beliefs  8o  im as shocked as you. This  however is all\"based\" on a true story.....be sure to tune into the next episode.

We are aware we cause , to say the least, a \"bitter\" after taste on some of your sensitive tastebuds,  also that our path is going to be full of opposition, resentment an toil....We eagerly look forwad to every step of our long journey to forefill our destiny.

And what would be your destiny? To have a horrible death, slow and painful, moments that makes you shiver even when you think at them? Your enemies will eat small parts from you, over and over my friend, until you\'ll be here no more, if you\'ll continue believing you\'re so \"high\" persons. And then, what destiny would that be? ;)

ooc All i do is RP a fearless warlord, that does backdown from others critisim, (although he retains most of it and files it away in his handy ps info & tips folder).
Some find this offensive, or make pathetic comments which are in turn responded with mildly better ones..sometimes.

We challenge guilds to wars , some accept some dont. Some we win some we lose. Of course we only advertise the succesful campaigns. We rp as sinister mal-do\'ers. nothing more nothing less. We will grow and evolve as our members activity refects the will to do so.

But of course! Let\'s say it\'s a little hard to believe that you\'re going out, and you scream with all your powers in the middle of the street that you\'re a \"fearless warlord\"  ;)

Do you think I was not roleplaying my friend?

or make pathetic comments

Though, I doubt using words like \"pathetic\" when you also said you\'re \"ooc\" is something you\'d like to use from now on as well. Just a friendly advice.

Yea, I suppose it\'s hard to roleplay character with intelligence higher than your own...

Or is the warlord actually supposed to have no tactic skills?

Ahhh... good old Deus ex Trucido, been a while since i joined you guys.  Well now im back active in game, should have some great fun stirring up trouble.  Oh and people, for the record: That was so NOT my fault about the name being spelt wrong, im sure when i came up with the name i spelt it right, someone else must have copied it down wrong. :P  My latin is perfect i tell you!!! heheh...

You may have forgoten how you gained so much power so quikly, but I have not and it is not an avenue that will be open to you again. You and your guild will be very easy targets to those mb vetrans with a lot of tria. I\'d wager that by this time after the wipe Dues Ex Trucido is an ugly and almost forgoten memory.

Dont underestimate the power they have.  I for one played in MB, and had a sizeable amount of tria transfered from MB. (10,000+).  The people you see commenting in here arnt the entire guild, you know.  I trust that after the wipe we will be able to grow just as quickly as before.

And I don\'t want to sound rude or anything, but Baal? Come on. The origin among the Jews of the stories of angels and demons was the Sumerian religion brought to the Canaanite Jews after 1960 BC by Abraham. He brought the worship of Baal and Asherah, the God and Goddess. In a Sumerian story of the war in heaven, Baal defeats the sea monster Yamm, whose name was changed to Leviathan by the Jews. After 1260 BC, the Yahwist Jews began to re-write and transform this religion of the Jews of Canaan into the form later adopted by the Christians and Moslems. So, in a short story, Baal = God, and I don\'t think some religion adepts would be so pleased how you use these names and meanings

Uhhhh,.... your point being?  We\'re allowed to use God\'s names in game, its a nice theme.  There are very few people who still worship these gods, so i highly doubt we would be offending anyone... maybe if one of our Members was Yahweh, god of compassion, ok, that would be stretching it a little.  But i dont see anything wrong with the current theme, save it is a bit ooc.  But we\'re not really taking much more than the names here.

The difficulty lies entirely in that it is ooc, RLM.  Have you even the base creativity to generate a few half-original combinations of syllables?
The key to manipulative bargaining is to ask for something twice as big as what you want, then smile and nod when you are talked down to your original wish. You are still young, my apprentice, and have much to learn in the ways of the force. -UtM

Simply using  a name dosn\'t constitue being ooc.  Ok, if it was a stupid name like Mr Cars or Light Saber yeah thats out of character, but simply using acient God\'s names dosnt really mean anything in particular.  On the contrary, just because you make up a name that hasnt ever been used somewhere before, dosnt make it in character.  It becomes in character from the way you use it, and from the way you develop that character.  I could come up with a thousand random names, but i simply prefer to use an existing name.  If you take an acient God\'s name, and you build up your character within the limitations of Planeshift in terms of storyline and setting, then i dont see any reason why you cant use it.  It remains to be seen how the storyline within planeshift will be set up (i.e how your character will interact with the story in planeshift), but until then unless a character is borrowing excessive ooc cultural references in choosing their name, then i dont think they should be stopped from doing so until they\'ve had the chance to develop that character.

Aye!

\"A name, whats in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet!\"

A tomato suddenly strikes Induane straight in the face. Someone in the back yells, \"What moron wrote that?\"

Induane leaps off stage, and flees the Hydlaa Theatre of the Masque.

Amheh shakes his head at monketh, grabs his ooc metal brief case.(That would not and could not be fabricated within our realm, at this present moment), swings it around his head several times and hammer throws it out of view.
Now monketh my dear friend, he says through gritted teeth. We have already been down this path and i shall not walk it again...for the time being anyway.

Our Guild continues to grow from force to force and strength to strength, thus proving our crittics wrong, by it own sucessful endevours.
Our name grows as one to be associated with fear and heart-break, we have been the topic of much angst and woe. And we shall remain.
Your petty heckling, misunderstanding and defiance only fuels our blood lust. Our journey to forfill our forefathers dreams ,will be realised and you shall bear witness from bloodied knees, your back and will whipped into submittance.

Turning from the small figure, Monketh.

Deus ex trucido, All of you are asked to step forward. A meeting will be taking place to follow each members progress within their current set task. We also have quite a number of new followers needing introduction to our older members and way of life.
Visit our website, with any question you may have.
