memory shortage
« on: March 09, 2005, 02:57:46 am »
alrighty in my \"system\" it says that i have 768mb of memory. It also siad that i have 85% of my system resources free. so that means i have over 600mb free right. but when i start the client or teh updater it tells me there isn\'t enough memory and i need to close programs and try again. problem is i checked everything and there is nothign to close. i highly doubt that planeshift requires more than 600mb of memory. thats rediculous
if u could offer any suggestions or if ur having this problem post plz. anyone know how much memory plane shift is supposed 2 use up?

Hmm, it\'s been a while for me with windows, but if I remember correctly, are system resources != ram. They are just a 64KB buffer for some windows components like GDI and stuff. But I could be wrong.

Back to Planeshift again \\o/
