Festival was great :P
« on: April 24, 2005, 12:31:09 am »
Well I really enjoyed the festival, although I was too tired to stay on for the hunt I was still a referee for the unarmed tournament and what can I say.. you people really can fight.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed the hunt, I would love to hear of what happened afterwards, if I had of stayed I would of written a review.. ah wait.. just remembered Adyna is completing that news report.

Well I am making a video, sort of an ad campaign, but it will show you a bit of what you people missed :P the video will be around 30mb and I will upload it to the web when I can.

*pats Cyl on the back*

You will get another chance and in the meanwhile you can read the compilation of the games on the festival\'s forums.

I was wondering where the dicers were though but alas technical difficulties is something nobody can control.

Wasn\'t a good time for me, unfortunately I couldn\'t be at my computer when it was on :( Sorry for that but i\'ll be there next time for sure and I hope i\'ll still get to host some dice games.

The festival was really great, though I was rather late. (heh, that even rhymes! :) ) Now that the download finished, I have installed the festival patch. Bit late, but still nice. :D

Great idea, and executed very well!

Okay well I finished the video, just needs to be uploaded. I think it will be a good little ad, although I didn\'t get any footage of the hunting games that can be a seperate video next time round. I will upload tonight.

*bump*

I am having a little trouble getting onto my FTP server so does anyone have some webspace they would like to host the video? It\'s 26.1mb in size.

As I wasn\'t strong enough to be one of the challengers at the past tournament I decided to became a supporter and just saw the battles from the Arena graderies.

When I arrived there was the group fighting about to start.
Here you\'ll see the groups making their strategies and tactics:

And at your left the group commanded by Csaba (if I remember correctly because, as you can see they were pretty away from the public. Shy gladiators!)

And at your right the group under Lordbug\'s orders

The battle begins and the firsts death soon arrive:

Too sad to see the group I wanted to win (i made my bet) was loosing members that fast:

They were sorrounded completely:

While in the distance two magicians were training their skills:

Now there\'s only one left living and leaving too XDD. Lordbug runs for his life:

But he couln\'t survive and I lost my money :___( as you\'ve seen those were pretty far away picture so I decided to move to the sand and take the pictures from the bloody Arena.

And those are the CHAMPIONS!!

You can read their cheers there and, if you pay attention you\'ll see another journalist on the background...

Having lost all my money I decided to: a) not bet again of course and b) move to another tournament

The magic tournament was about to start and, as I\'m trying to learn a magic way too I decided to go and see how some magicians used their power.
And indeed Lordbug was there facing Induane:

Just look at their faces... scary aren\'t them?

Here you\'ll see Lordbug in action, for those females wondering that\'s the arrow spell by the way... :

Good arrow throwing Induane!

I think Lordbug ended winning that combat but, but the referees discovered later there were challengers who were dopping themselves (I won\'t tell the ones that had done that ;) )

Seeing the dopping mess I moved to the sword fighting room:

Here you see a dwarf deadly hitten!!!

Valbrandr was defeated by Csaba...

And here you see Csaba celebrating his win. Going all the way up and jumping all the way down...

And surviving to the fall!!!!

After seeing this I was glad not to have fighted any of the challengers...

By the way I guess Adyna must have send their own journalists to cover such an exceptional event and in the next number of the ps times we could see more detailed pictures, appart from the video you were talking and that misterious (almost camouflaged journalist) i was talking to you about before.
Are there any MoonSeekers left?
