Fine, no \"Culture Club\", but it sounds like your basically starting a Rotary Club.  Which I think is a good idea.  I think something that smacks of \"Parent-Teacher Association\" will be a good way to start.  Like the \"Hydlaa Cultural Preservation Society\".  You could arrange for historical storytelling or even re-enactments from the mythology.

What a coincidence. As I was smashing scapwood into small bits with a large maul and burning them today, I thought to myself, \"You know, they should have an in-game forum.\" Seriously, I did.  A real place, like the ancient Greeks had. Though perhaps we could let the ladies play...well...the ladies.

As for the name, I kinda like \'Ethos Fellowship of Yliakum\'. \'Fellowship\' isn\'t to stiff and formal and sounds more like what we have going on here. And \'Ethos\' is the perfect all encompassing word. Look it up. You\'ll see what I mean.

Ill think of some others but I believe it should have to do with the fact that this organization will be setting up entertaining events.

I know our website likes being difficult sometimes but usually you \'ll find if you wait two minutes you can get into it. We are working on a new and improved one though.

I will pick out the best sounding names and make them into a poll on our website, my personal favorite is Ethos Fellowship of Yliakum as well I think.

As for the reenactment and historical storytelling .. great ideas which I hope we can realize.

i found a shirt which has \'culture front\' written on it... now that is not a bad name for a guild... of course it would be more fitting in a modern or cyberpunk rpg

We now have an official in-game Guild named Ethos Fellowship .. of Yliakum was too long to add since guild names need to be under 25 characters.

Do not worry as it is not neccesary to be a member of this guild and none of you need to leave their old guild. It is just a way to connect us to the game better as well as some free advertizing. If you wish to join the Guild, just find me somewhere around Hydlaa.

Currently we have the following Categories:
-Hired Help: For those who wish to help out but have no desire to remain active within our Fellowship, these members will either promote quickly to a more permanent category or leave the Fellowship as soon as they move on.
-Sympathist: These people do sympathize to our cause but won\'t be an active participant for various reasons, however they won\'t leave as soon as the Hired ones.
-Referee: The members who will be taking care of refereeing games and/or tournaments to make sure everything happens fair. This will be a very temporary position for most.
-Actor: The people who wish to bring culture and entertainment to the people of Yliakum in the form of plays.
-Bard: Slightly different from the Actor category as they prefer to work and perform solo, as well as write their own material.
-Ethos Assistant: These people will play a key position and be recruited to juggle a large variety of tasks as well as be in chare of public relations and internal relations.
-Outer Circle: The members of the Outer Circle form the medium through which the Inner Circle spreads their ideas and projects to the rest of the Fellowship. Proof of dedication will be sufficient to be able to join this Circle.
-Inner Circle: The core of our fellowship with only the most active, dedicated and capable members. They will work closely together and are the masterminds behind all of our projects. Only those who are capable and get voted in by the entire Inner Circle and myself are allowed to join.
-Patriarch: This is simply a ceremonial position which has to be filled for efficiency purposes and because every guild requires one \'leader\'. The Patriarch has an equal say as every member of the Inner Circle in all matters though.

We will not be a regular guild and will not be competing with others, though we will possibly form alliances with other guilds.

Our only goal is to provide culture and entertainment to the people of Yliakum.

As for joining .. I was thinking, perhaps we could form some kind of alliance with Raven Guard? Of course that wouldn\'t be any kind of alliance based on power but just a sign of support and good will from both sides.

But I suggest we discuss that somewhere in private maybe.
