Read the Player\'s Guide.

Some tips:

*People with blue nametags are NPCs.
*Talk to NPCs to discover who they are and what they do, and if they\'re a merchant or a trainer.
*Monsters are easy to spot- they are monsters!
*The most rewarding pasttime in Planeshift is Roleplaying.

Here\'s another tip: Talk to the other player characters (the ones with the green name tags). Some of them may not want to talk, but some of them (er, us) are happy to help, or to just stop and chat.

Yet another tip: don\'t use abbreviations like \"u\" for \"you\". Things like \"AFAIK\" are OK if out of character (which should be avoided), but not in character.

And remember, there are no stupid questions, only stupid people asking questions.

EDIT: I\'m not saying you\'re stupid, I just like using that quote.
