Connecting
« on: May 01, 2005, 01:51:41 am »
I can\'t connect to a server.
What login name do you use...I was never
presented with an option to select a login name.
One of the newbie guides seemed to suggest
using the e-mail address you registered with...
that doesn\'t work.  Been trying for 2 days.
Please help.

-------------------------

Just as a double check...
I have downloaded the following...
PSVO.2.006 parts 1-5
PSVO.2.010 parts 1-5
run me first batch
Am I missing a needed file ?
I have run the updater several times.
When pushing the UPLOAD button, I get
to wait about 90 secs...then I get the \' can\'t
reach a server\' message.
for a server address I have input 203.81.47.74
As stated previously...I have no idea what
the correct username/ID is.

Please do not double post. Thanks. -Moogie

Register an account from the website. You can find a link in the Downloads page.

Verify the account using the email that is sent to you after registration. Take care with this step to do it correctly.

Log in with your email address as the username at the login screen in the game client, and the password you chose during registration.

Moogie, any bells ringing?

That\'s MB files, the old release
You need to get the new release from the downloads page

OK...so what is the new release ?
That is...exactly what files do I need
to download ?  The help section is useless here.
And Moogie...how was I to know it was a double
post ?  I had more info to add...does edit do this
function ?  That\'s why it\'s posted in the newbie section.
Rude replies do nothing to help the situation.
Thank you Androgos.
As stated in my posts...I have used the e-mail
address and the password associated with my
registration...they don\'t work.  Would appreciate any
help I can get.

Love and kisses, Pueo

Thanks Kiramon...that was it.
I had the old MB files...which I was
directed to by the downloads page.
Don\'t understand how I got to the old
files, but I have the correct download now.

Regards...Pueo

Androgos: Ah, I completely missed that bit for some reason. :) I didn\'t even see the .part stuff.

Pueo: Where do you see a rude post here? I was being nice, and still am. I am sorry that my intentively helpful advice was not useful to you.

Perhaps I should cease helping now, but I can\'t resist. :P For your future information, doubleposting is where you post once, and then post again right underneath, before anyone else has had a chance to reply. I took the liberty of deleting your second post and adding its contents to the first for you, because I\'m nice.
