The Fleeting Shadow
« on: May 11, 2005, 05:18:35 am »
Hrmm... I never really saw this forum before. Then this whole Octarch business came up and, well, here I am. Anyway, The Fleeting Shadow is a story written by Leiraine and I (two members of the Arcane Order) a few months ago. What makes this story a bit special is that we actually RPed this out in IRC first (with no intention of making it a story or anything) and then constructed the story from the transcripts. It was lot\'s of fun to both write and RP it. I hope you enjoy reading it!

Note: Because the story has already uploaded and divided into chapters in the AO library, I\'m just going to link to it instead of copying everything over.

Heh, heh...I read that back while I was still writing \'Chain of Souls\'. A good tale that will most likely end up in \'The Book\'  sticky. ;)

I\'m honored that you think so. ;)

I\'ve started reading some of your stories (Chain of Souls, believe it or not. I heard so many positive comments on it that I had to see what it was all about ;) ) now that I\'ve actually started reading this forum. Thus far I\'ve been impressed. Unfortunately, I need sleep at the moment, so I\'ll have to resume reading tomorrow. Very nice stuff so far, though. :)

The Book, as I mentioned above, contains a few of my favorites. And I am very hard to please. \'CoS\' is long and complicated, and just the start to two even longer tales (one of which I\'m working on right now, the other has yet to be started.) Just thought I would warn you. ;)
