First of all i want to justify this thread.
I started it, because the other threads with equivalent Questions,
not really contain my problem. If the content is near to my question the Poster descriped it inadequate.
Furthermore I want to annotate that I am not a native; my english is pretty bad.
On Friday I downloaded the Client. On Thursday the server was back online. So I do not have Experience about the earlier behouvior of the game. I only know, that PlaneShift nearly always is crashing, if I start the Game, load a new Map or something like that.
I know that this release is a pre-alpha, so I am not sure if this problems are well know.
My PC:
CPU -> AMD Athlon 2000 MHZ
RAM -> 256 DDR
GPU -> Nvidia Geforce 4200
OS -> Win XP Proffesionell
A friend of mine has similiar problems, so I do not thinkt, that the problem is hardware related. IF it is a problem -- how can i fix?
One further Question:
Does someone knows, when the Linux Version will be released? ( e.g. throug experte knowledge you gained in earlier updates)
At the moment I get a segmentation fault if i run the psupdater (Debian Sarge).
