Although it seems a little bit late now, my guild The Order Of The Hand is still going strong (or something like that), it\'s really old (from the forum before this), we are aiming at being as good as possible and we are really short in members...

well, i need to post this somewhere and i guess this thread is as good as any because this is where i started. i am leaving Ryuu Warriors, through no fault of theirs. i still highly respect cyo and golbez, but i don\'t want to be part of a guild until the game becomes active and i can evaluate which is right for me. basically, i had a bad experience in another game where i joined a clan without fully evaluating them, and it turned out to be a disaster. the clan was totally different from what i had expected. so after the game comes up (to the point we can actually do anything useful) i will probably join a guild, it may be Ryuu Warriors again, it may not. i don\'t know. this post may seem self-centered (as i\'m just talking about myself) but i just don\'t want to try to enter a guild and have the members go \"hey, aren\'t you already part of a guild\" so i\'m just making this clear.

I totally understand and respect your decision Fyre, although it really is a shame to lose one of our most active members (if not, the most active one). If you wish to return or not, it is your choice. We will not force you or hold anything against you for leaving the guild.

In fact, I am evaluating my position as a guild member as well. I don\'t think it will suit my character nor my playing style. But right now, there is a 50-50 chance of leaving or staying (I already talked to Cyo about this) If I do leave, I don\'t think I will join any guild at all. Or at least I don\'t plan on joining any of the current guilds as they are. It is probably too early for a guild to be created right now, but hey, it provides us of something to do while we wait for the next release, right?

I guess i should put in my word too, Fyre contacted me earlier about this, and yes i guess it is a good time to say the guild may be closing its doors soon.  But hey its not like hes goin anywhere :P, c ya around teh game fyre

Honestly speaking, the guild is not doing very well. We will try our best to prevent it from disappearing, but I guess we have reached a point where there are more reasons to close it than to keep going, and trying to keep a guild where contact with the members has been lost (completely, I would say) is very frustrating.

I had some ideas for the guild, which I personally think the members would have found interesting, like a detailed background, beliefs in which the actions of the guild are strongly based, among others. I never had the time to finish all of this, and right now I\'m going through pretty busy times so going about all this stuff is out of the question. But if it had been completed on time, it could have attracted many new people and probably the guild would still be running strong. So I take my share of responsability in all of this.

Only time will tell whether the guild survives or not. I sincerely think it is more likely to close for good, but that is only my opinion. In any case, I am still considering my choices, and I find playing as a lonely mercenary an appealing idea, so if by chance the Ryuu Warriors continue with their doors open, you probably won\'t find me there.

I\'m going to stop boring people now. I guess it\'s too late, though.

I\'m afraid I disagree totally, you have the makings of a great guild on your hands. Even if it\'s just you and Cyo for the moment, you already have a guild with history and a guild that is recomended and respected by peope - let\'s not forget that it is very early days and any guild is going to be faced with the problem of having nothing really to do and people who come here, join a guild, then after a couple of months get bored and we never see them again - don\'t get discouraged by it.

Don\'t worry about time for completing your ideas, you have a solid web site and any extras will be a bonus, but you\'ve got plenty of time to work gradually. Go ahead with your ideas, they will only strengthen your position, and when some form of a game arrives people will be eager to join you ;)

I didn\'t want to make it sound like I am giving up on the guild, because that isn\'t true. Of course I will try to help as much as I can, I wouldn\'t like to see this guild closing. We are only saying there is a possibility of that happening. I don\'t see a solid guild right now, we will work on that, and try to improve our situation.

I\'m not a person that walks away from problems. It is just that I am not as interested in being involved with a guild as much as before, I don\'t have as much time in my hands anymore, and there are a couple of other reasons you don\'t need to know :P

I can only promise you that we will try our best to keep this guild alive

Well Kada I know I shouldnt leave the guild so early, but I am leaving it up to Golbez really if the guild keeps going or not.  Yeah I am the leader, but he was the one that ran things behind the scenes and always helped me, I\'ve always said we shared it 50/50, and he did more than he needed, while I slacked :-/.  Running the guild does not appeal as much to me now, and if it closes its doors, it closes for good, I dont want a rw3 running around ;).  Sorry Golbez that I leave the guilds fate up to you, but the guild couldn\'t have gone so far without ya :P

golbez, cyo, u guys don\'t have to give up on the guild. when the game comes up, i believe that many members will probably come back and be in contact with you two. i just left because i felt it would be better if i observed many guilds instead of making assumptions and making them wrong. even though i don\'t think RW will be anything like the one that ended up going bad, i just decided to wait and see. in the short time i was with the guild (and talking to you two) it seems that you both have built a solid base for RW and can continue to do so. u both have the right leadership qualities and ideas. so no matter what you decide, i wish you good luck with the Ryuu Warriors, whether i\'m in it or not.
