Whats wrong with running?

Can someone help me out every time I start to run the client just unexpectantly quits.

I\'ve followed Chaos\'s guide through for a second time, it fixed my mucked up toolbar but still didn\'t stop the client closing when I run.

hmmm... same here! until now it worked without problem, but since today when I run it quits!

EDIT: actually, if I don\'t run it will still quit. It just takes a little bit more time...
EDIT2: OK, it seems (at least some) windows people have the same problem...see thread in bugs forum.

Are you running through Terminal (and is there any output)? If not, is there any output to the Console?

It\'s hard to determine the problem without more information.

I run the client through the GUI. I have console output as well as psclient error log. They are big though. The console mainly complains about lightning.... not found, but also some other things.

If you give me an email address to send them to I will...

OS: Mac OS X 10.4.1
Processor: PowerPC G5  (3.1)
RAM: 2Gb
Video Card: ATI Radeon 9600
Chipsetmodel:  ATY,RV351
Video Card Memory: 128 Mb


I Have the same problem. PS was working fine, but the last 24 hours it started to crash.

In specific places the crashes ocur. In the desert-like town (what\'s its name) when you go from the main part of town to the right part, PS crashes just after going through the circular gate, but not when you go back that same route.  In Hydlaa it\'s realy bad. It takes 4 crashes to get from the plaaza to the road to the potionshop.

My console and crash logs are far to long to post here.

I hope this can be fixed easily.

If you haven\'t, try disabling background music.  Send me a crash log if this doesn\'t help.
