PSO fans! Get ready!
« on: July 15, 2005, 08:02:30 am »
That\'s right a new PSO is on its way to the PC and PS2. And I can\'t wait! Eeeeep!!!!

Before you lash out and ask for release date, its 11/20/05 (November 20 2005 if your thingys are in a different order)

There are supposed to be 3 planets and a whole new story line to the game so no more repeats like the DS-GC pso. They say there\'s about 40-50 hours of gameplay to complete the story once and it will span about 20 \"huge\" dungeons with about 15 bosses. (Which is a massive improvement from the last pso).  They also said they will be updating it and adding in new stuff which is always good.

Here are some links for info: (FYI the 2006 release date is wrong on the main sega site)
Main Sega Feature(has a good video of it):http://www.sega.com/games/game_temp.php?game=psu&id=psu_hp_sp#
Probably the most informative link out there: http://www.1up.com/do/feature?cId=3138974&did=1
Some Screenshots: http://www.1up.com/do/media?cId=3138701

Out of the PC and PS2 ports I\'ll probably get it for PC.
I plan on getting it for the PC because,
1. Easyer to talk to people with.
2. I don\'t have a PS2 :P
3. More control options
4. Because I said so

I\'ll probably play a HuMar BEcause that\'s what I played with the last PSO and loved it. The Fo and Ra classes seemed boring to me for some reason. I like being right in the action with a game as active as PSO. Ah I can\'t wait till the finding the little red boxes and freaking out and taking em to the id dude only t find out it\'s another of the same sword you found 100 times over. EEEK I WANT IT NOW!!!!:)

Now all that\'s left to do is sit and wait..........

I\'m already tired of waiting....................................

.................. :(

I\'m always Racast
no mention of monthly fee\'s

yet.

but sega are doing their hunter license crap for PSO BB, of which is a total remake of the PSO DC+GC versions with some more things to do.

if they\'re making people buy the game and chargin to play it (BB has no offline mode) then there is no chance in hell PSU will be free. and i wont be playing a game under a monthly fee, its sick

I hate monthly fees too but sega only charges like 8 or 9 bucks (usa) a month which isn\'t really much at all.
