The server is down at the moment, so you can\'t register or enter the game. The problem is being looked into, so try to gather a bit of patience and wait until everything is solved :)
When the server does return, you first have to register for an account on the website (
http://laanx.fragnetics.com, actually) - you need a working email address, and will have to validate it through an email. Once that is done, the registered email goes into the username field of the game client (which is indeed a pre-alpha tech demo), along with the password you chose when registering.
In the meantime, you can try reading through the Player Guide on the website (always a good start), as well as checking out the various important stickies in the forums.
