I WHANT TO PLAY THE GAME BUT AM NOT SURE!!!!!!!!

I HAVE PLAYED RUNESCAPE, WORLD OF WARCRAFT, KNIGHT ONLINE WORLD, AND GULD WARS. ALL THOSE GAMES ARE REALLY COOL AND I LIKE THEM VERY MUCH. ON A SCALE OF 1 TO 10. (1 being the worst and 10 being great) WHAT WOULD YOU RATE THIS GAME AND WHAT YOU LIKE ABOUT IT. I THINK THIS GAME LOOKS COOL BUT I NEED MORE THAN ONE OPINION.

seriously writing ALL IN CAPS is pretty much the rudest and most uncivilized thing, noonr is going to listen to you. And a good hint for you, stick to wherever you came from.

PS is much a beautifull game to see, but it has to few things like mining, smithing and alchemy, but PS is still a tech demo, so this will all come in the real game. When PS would be complete, I would give it a 10, becouse it would be the best MMORPG ever seen, but that will take a few years, and other games can pop out the ground in no time, maybe even better games.

I\'ll give PS (for what it is now) 6 points.

Yeh, you probably won\'t like it, mainly because your codpiece is not yet fully developed.

This is a pre-alpha tech demo, so it is far from completed. The game is about where WoW was four years ago when it was only accessable by Blizzard devs. We are happy that the Planeshift devs have allowed public access to aid in their development by seeing how a large group reacts to various game aspects.

Also, Planeshift is far more fun is you do a lot of roleplaying, not power-leveling. You may do power-leveling, but if it\'s all you do, you will get bored quickly.

If Planeshift retains the quality it has as an tech demo, I would rate it in a 1-10 scale, a 14 as a final game... far better than WoW. I haven\'t played Guild Wars (the %@$(@&*$ didn\'t make it for the Mac!)

All in all, this is an incredible place. Welcome.

Yes the powerleveling gets boring quick. I do like the game a lot better than most of the ones he mentioned. I would probably give it a 9/10. The bugs take it down a notch.

Rating of any game is at best arbitrary.  One thing that Planeshift has that other games don\'t have is a good community.  There are many people who are around alot, so get to know them, make friends IC and OOC.  The RP and community and spirit of this game makes it completely unique to all other games, but these things may or may not matter to you. Personally it is my favorite game of all.  

I have played Runescape, World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy X1 and many other non mmorpg games, but alas, I can\'t remove myself from Planeshift.  I\'m completely caught up in it.

Like with runescape. I was playing it since it started. It was a really really good game. And the people were sooo nice. BUT when the game was known to more people all the idiot rude people started to flood in! So then I quit... And right now I am looking for a new game to settle in. I hope PlaneShift will be that game.
