There\'s always the Gimp. Can\'t get much cheaper than free.  :)

Sig below was made in the Gimp, btw.

GIMP is somehow always recommended, but you won\'t find anything really cheap and worth it in the art world. Might want to look into trials of Paint Shop Pro, Photoshop, Corel\'s Painter, Alias Sketchbook, etc. I... wouldn\'t recommend touching MS Paint ;)

I really hate all the gray thats around him. If somebody could help me or teach how to get rid of it would be great. Im new at the scanning bussines and picture editing.

Nice! I actually like how the paper tone scanned in with the drawing, but to get rid of it either make sure your drawing is cleaner (erase all excess lines and smudges), or up the brightness and contrast with your scanning utility or image editing software.

Yeh, nice work alright, not sure if you have any Adobe software, if I have any linework, I...

? scan into photoshop
? adjust with levels to clean up greys (sometimes convert to bitmap, depends)
? use magicwand to select all black, use select similar, or fiddle with until you get what you want.
? then, in the paths palette (yes, there are quick keys for this stuff!), make a work path, you can just use the default 2.0 tolerance if you like.
? in File, export your paths to illustrator, open in illustrator, add stroke (black) and remove white fill. Now you will have an editable vector.

Not sure if this anything you are after and it is one way of a few and very simplified, as always you will need to experiment to get the results you want but it is handy, keep up the good work. :)
