Perhaps you don\'t meet the minimum requirements to play the game.
Minimum Requirements:

    * Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux, FreeBSD or Solaris
    * GeForce 2 or higher 3D graphics card
    * 1 Ghz CPU
    * 512 MB RAM
    * 1 GB free disk space
    * 56k modem Internet connection

Recommended Requirements:

    * Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux or FreeBSD
    * GeForce 4 or higher 3D graphics card
    * 2 Ghz CPU
    * 1 GB RAM
    * 1 GB free disk space
    * Broadband Internet connection

Anyway, you can always try to disable sound in psconfig, but, that beep sounds more a system error. Let\'s see.

Nope, i\'ve met req. Maybe its a sound thing? I\'ve read some and saw that there are some known errors and codes. Just for others who may have this problem, I had to disable the sound, but that just made the game less enjoyable, and I can\'t click and move. Maybe i should wait for later versions?

Could you please post something to convince me to want to play, tell me something that makes this game unique other than the terrible conrtols and bugs so far, but this looks awesome, like i said, maybe i\'ll just keep an eye out for later versions.

hmm. something unique...

i play it. only online game that i play.
well, it\'s unique rather then good. but it answers the question.

the chance to get in on the ground floor of the what will be the greatest mmorpg _ever_.
which comes with immense bragging rights. when it comes time for the book to be writen.
may laanx frighten the shadow from my path.
hardly because the shadow built the lexx.
the shadow will frighten laanx from my path.

Could you explain that click and move thing?
I too don\'t feel really comfortable with the new movement system, but, most of the bugs have been already reported.

Well, i started the game and unlike most mmorpgs, where you click to where u want to move and press say space to jump when necessary, I must use the keyboard to move mouse to click on things and i find it unusually  odd and annoying (no offense its just my opinion) and some of my friends have stopped playnig because of that.
Things would be so much easier if i could click to which direction i want to move and how far i want to move that way. Also, it would be nice if the chat didnt have a code to be put in to move.
Its because of these small things that make a game extremely unfun. This game would be great if it were easier to understand and control.

Yes it\'s the new movement system. Don\'t worry those lacks of functionality aren\'t intended, they\'re just bugs.
For instance, before we were able to use ctrl+ right mouse click to specify a location we wanted the char to go.
All this things will be corrected.

Yes, as nilrem said, things are always being fixed.  The new movement code will allow for many more forms of movement like flying and running at different speeds, but in order to add it they had to change how movement worked.
Most of the small bugs that appeared in this update have already been corrected for the next one, but more will always be worked on.
