As of now, the current incarnation of the updater behaves properly, does not attempt to apply unix to windows, and no longer uses all available CPU under WinXP.

I wonder however, is it necessary for all additions to a zip be synched individually?
Surely it would save a tremendous amount of time updating, If all files were downloaded to a temp folder first, and then synched all at once?
As it stands, a single Zip in art/world/cache/ was opened and synched over a hundred times, when once would have sufficed...
