about the box model: i think he was trying to say \"try some shapes\".
Not a good example though, that model is done in 2 seconds (cube - scale - extrude - scale - done).
I\'ve seen some really cool blender tutorials on their homepage, you should check it out.
Texturing a model is a whole new ball game.

your last image is made with blender, with NURBS
i dont know if wings3d can do that without subsurf...

my chest is an old version, It\'s the first model I did (for a Rubbies Of Eventyde mod (never realesed) ^^) several months ago...
