<Worf> These are the moments when my ego gets put back on the ground. I use linux for quite some time, and am soon 2 years maintainer of a linux distribution. I started to think I would be good at it. But then I tried to get planeshift running.

I checked your account and it seems to be ok.  So I am not exactly sure what the problem could be.  It may be that you are behind a firewall so the server cannot reach you or several other things.  We use port  13331 so you should make sure that your computer can accept traffic from that port.

for system info, u can do a few things. one way is to go to start-->settings-->control panel. then, double-click the system icon. on the top there are four tabs. two of them are general and performance. (i think it\'s performance) anyway, it should be the first and last tabs. the information on both of those should provide enough for what system information u need to give.

To find out the information Maskil told you to list start by right clicking on the \"My Computer\" icon on your desktop.

*Scroll down to \"Properties\" and left click.

*The first screen that pops up will tell you exactly what version of windows you have on a PC listed under \"System\"

*Underneath there may be a listing of who it is registered too( we dont need that)

*Beneath that will be your PC type, processor brand and type and amount of RAM.

*All this will be listed on the \"General Tab\" Next to that tab at the top of the window should be a tab labeled\"Device Manager\"  Left Click on that now.

*In the list beneath that tab you should find \"Display Adapters\" Left click on that and it will tell you what your video card is. I am not sure if it will tell you your video RAM here mine is and intergrated card so it isnt listed.

OS = Operating system ,Whatever version of Microsoft Windows you have on your PC(Unless you have a Mac and then I am totally clueless)

Processor  = Most likely an Intel Brand on your PC like PentiumIII etc.

RAM  Random Access Memory, how fast your computer finds and runs processes

Video Card  Type of display adapter

Video Card Memory  amount of RAM assigned to the video card

PS Client Version  What version of Planeshift do you have?

OpenGL or Safe Mode  When you load PS which of these two options did you choose?

Description of the bug  What went wrong exactly and please list any error messages you received as accurately as possible.

I am obviously no expert here but thats as simple as I know how to explain it, hope it helps.

You didn\'t give us any information that I can see, except that it doesn\'t connect? That does not help us any. Could you explain your problem more?
