The server is most likely down, or if you are on XP run it in Compatible mode I think. Make sure your not running a firewall, if you are let PS through or Shut the Firewall Down.

I do have a firewall.  What port does it use so that I can let it through?

They don\'t tell us when the server is up and down because no one ever uses it, I don\'t know what the port is, Run PS in a window and see what it is trying to access.

Found some info including port

If you go down near the bottom of the psclient.cfg file you\'ll find

Planeshift.Connection.Server   = 203.109.172.22
Planeshift.Connection.Port     = 13331

try setting the port in your firewall to that port number, the serve address there is wrong.

I\'ve been getting the same error and I can ping the server. I might have to reset my router now that I\'vesetup the port.

Also does any one know if the Protocol is TCP or UDP?

make sure you specify \"ps.gamiix.com\" in the connect window, not an IP address.
