So, rare is when things stop being rare after 2 weeks ? 1 month? Half a year? A year?
And even if they will be rare for some time. You won\'t feel anything wrong when you fight with 5 slash weapon and suddently you see someone else with 250 slash?

EDIT please don\'t find this post offensive. I\'m just annoyed the way how people think about this matter.

Eventually, condition of weapons will degrade with use until they break.

I haven\'t seen a game where weapon couldn\'t be repaired to its full condition. I haven\'t seen many games though.
So you must mean that each time it is repaired its max condition decreases a bit, that is solution, not that great.
It still don\'t answer how it come smiths didn\'t maximalized their profits by using the best technologies to make the best avarage weapon.
There are a lot more of reason.
My point is that people don\'t really think about all this stuff, but it is rather: Oooo what a nice sword, good that i have it and others don\'t.
Justification: it is a game and games have stuff like that.

And I don\'t write this directly to devs as a reminder, but rather to all of you dear planeshifters, to look at things a little smarter. Maybe also separate the way how you think from the way how think your chars

I believe that to repair rare weapons, rare materials are required, and not many individuals will be skilled enough to repair them.  Further, the expense of repairing such weapons would probably be quite high.

Really, planeshift is going to change so much in the coming months that I\'m inclined to stop talking about things like this all together.  I\'m really looking forward to the upcoming updates..... the next one is mostly bug fixes, but I smell crafting in the air.
