Yes, that is a normal output, albeit slow.  You can try the other update server, if you like.

Server reset..? Hm. Besides there being actual server resets when you may be trying to log on...

Do you have a firewall or a router? If so, you have to open UDP port 7354 (for server \"Laanx\").

What\'s your ping and loss, just to be paranoid?  (the number and the percentage next to the server name on the first screen)

Don\'t double post, please; simply edit your previous post to add new information, if no one has replied yet.

Did you follow my suggestion?

Yeah, your connection is fine.  Check your firewall and/or router as Karyuu suggested.

The process to do so is different for whatever system(s) you have.  You\'ll probably have to look at your manual/help file/website/whatever to figure it out if you don\'t already know.  (if you still can\'t figure it out, post your firewall/router name(s) and maybe someone can help you figure it out)

I wish I could post detailed instructions, but they vary by firewall/router. If you know which kind you have, try to find documentation on how to open ports. Google should do :)

*edit* Hahah! Dave, that\'s utter cheating xD Now I have to make an edit with something useful.

E.g., with some routers typing 192.168.1.1 into the URL bar brings up the router setup, which usually has a (advanced) tab for port forwarding ;)

*edit2* Acraig said it was either to be axes, or mugs... :) I seem to be the only \"Community Moderator,\" too.

Karyuu, you\'re echoing me again...  :D
Why are you the only one with axes for your rank?  That scares me...  :P

Just noticed the \"waiting on server data\" text in the pic.  Try clicking back, then going back in, if it says that for a while.  There\'s some sort of an odd connection glitch there.  (check the FW first)

Edited to add:
192.168.1.1 would only work if that\'s the IP of your router, which it may often be.  You may have installed some junk that came with it, and there\'d be a link to bring it up in your start menu somewhere.  If not, and you can\'t find it => RTFM :)

Edited again to add:
Well, go chop some newbie heads off then.  :P
(Hey, at least we aren\'t spamming this thread.  Yay for the edit button!  :) )
