I was looking at a few dates

Planeshift is one month away from the day Crystal Blue was released, which means steel blue shouldn\'t be very far away :)

Well, think about this. Planeshift has been around for about 5 years, now, Atomic Blue was around about 1 year, MB was around 1-3 years, and CB has almost been around one year, so its not that far away from SB

(I\'m not sure about the exact time each version existed, but the way that they added up the years, it shouldn\'t be too far away)

1+1+1 = 3
3 does not equal 5 :P

If the other two were one year each, then what\'s with the 1-3 unknown of third? :P

Thought I\'d point that out ;)

I said 1-3 because I don\'t know anything about AB, so I lowered it to 1 and put the MB date as 3 years, and CB has been around 1 year

Bingo ;)

By the way, if you assume AB to be 1 year and MB 3 years then why aren\'t you assuming CB to be around for 9 years? :P

ahh Exponential Progress.

It\'s impossible to put an even broad time stamp on the next release.  It could be next week, it could be next year.

Did you hear that, he said its going to be out \"next week\" YAY... ;).

I think SB will be out when Duke Nukem forever is out, not one second before that date.

Don\'t get too excited. Steel Blue is the red herring of the release lineup; unlike previous versions, there will not be a sudden release of an all-new client with tonnes of never-seen-before features and completely new looks and all that. Steel Blue is going to be, and already is, a progression of steady Big Updates leading to the next release\'s final goals list.

SB is not something that will one day be \'released\' like CB was. You are already playing CB with SB enhancements.

The impression that I get is that SB will be \"released\" only after all the main features are already implimented and ballanced in CB.  How accurate is that?  Will SB mean more maps using the same system, what kind of differences will people see?

hmm well why call it different if it\'s not a big change like with CB? ;)

Unless ofcourse to say the game is finally a game or something like that ;)

Well, it\'s not a big lump of new stuffs. But there will be new stuff, and it will look like a whole lot if you compare it to the initial CB release :P

The difference is that changes will be spread over time instead of the  huge jump from MB to CB
