Who bought a 360? what do you think? what games did you get?

Well yeah the paddle for the Nin Rev doesnt look beautiful... Though it does have a power button right on it.. and I guess if you just turn it to the left(counter clock wise) it turns into an NES controller .. Maybe if sony would have been a bit more original in the beggining and had not taken Nintendos design for a paddle and made it fit to your hand a bit more comfortably then Nin would still make that type of paddle.. but who knows.  And yeah I have windows on my comp... and yup plenty enough Viruses.. more then I would like.  Linux is by far more stable and not nearly as stupid (ok because of the many viruses I have had.. my comp had to be redown numerous times and each time we have to browse the internet and look up all the drivers for it.. and if you get the wrong ones it just freezes up.. after doing it a few times it gets a bit aggravating).. though you cant play all your games in Linux as of yet so I have to keep windows around for now.

Oh and has anyone heard that there have been quite a few early reported glitches for the Xbox.  Oh did I think that was great ... nah I wont buy them, they dont have enough RPGs for me.

yeh, i guess im the only person that actually is rooting for the xbox360, from what i can tell, it looks like an awesome console. And about the whole nintendo tryin new things, deffinetly didnt work with the nintedo ds. That is the worst handheld console EVER the psp kicks the crap outta it. I think thats prolly what will happen with the revolution also. Nintendo just keeps trying to enhance they product with some stupid gimmic like \"touch screen\" or their new controller, which all end up sucking like a bucket full of ticks. Sony and Microsoft are sticking to the same old console, but just improving on the graphics and games. Microsoft is gonna end up winning anyways, thanks to its Xbox live, and of course, halo2. Sony is also in trouble because Bill Gates said that he is launching Halo3 around the same time the PS3 comes out, and theres a good chance Halo3 will be alot more popular than the PS3.

I just got a chance to play 360. I have to say the graphics are good, but dont expect anything new. I mean, its the same old stuff: some FPS\'s, a Tony Hawk, Need For Speed, etc blah blah blah

Better graphics, same old stuff. Dont waste your money yet wait for some good original games to come out and the price to drop.

For now i\'ll be happy playing battlefield 2 on my computer, and ill probably pick up a copy of elderscrolls oblivion when it comes out on PC.

Have you seen any sales figures for the DS lately? Nintendo is touting it as a huge successand its bringing in big profits. I have a friend whos a diehard sony fan... bought a PSP and sold it a month later. I asked him why and he said he never played it, no good games.

Maybe if you owned a DS and had played through some of the better games such as Yoshi: Touch and Go and Metroid Prime: Hunters you wouldnt call the touch screen a gimmick. It allows for a style of gameplay that has never been possible on any system before it.

Maybe thats true... however nintendo has always made the best product though they dont have the game developers.  But considering I had to buy 2 PS1s and 2 PS2s because they are crap machines that are not reliable.  They have nice RPGs which will be one of the reasons that Microsoft wont be able to push them out so easily.  And yeah nintendo owns the hand held department.. the PSP doesnt have near the battery life and whatnot.. and truthfully I dont know one person who even owns one ... but oh well.. either way im sticking with Nintendo.

That person just wrote about two pages flaming the 360, WITHOUT EVER SAYING ONE THING THAT WAS WRONG WITH IT. What does everyone have against the 360. I miyself am not intending to buy one, but I have played one and it is a highly capable, high quality machine from my experience. that retard that posted the article was just another one of you Microsoft haters that has no good reasons to back up their hate.

Plus consoles are great!!! these next gen consoles offer insanely high quality for an insanely low price to an insanely high number of people!!! A PC that could even dream of playing something that the 360 and the PS3 can play, would caust at least 2000 dollars! So why the hell is everyone calling it a ripoff!!?!?! Hell, most people dont know anytrhing about computers, so the 360 is a godsend to those of us who dont feel like dealing with all the problems, expenses, and confusing aspects of a computer, whether it uses Windows(which I never have any problems with BTW), Linux, Mac OS or whatever.

My roommate has one and we have been playing it a lot recently. Right now the only game he purchased was Perfect Dark Zero and it\'s the one of the best xbox 360 games from what I can see. PDZ is just like the original for the n64 plus some added things and like the Goldeneye for n64.

Yes the graphics are nice, but they can be pushed a lot harder. The general power is compared to 2 7800gt in SLI and doesn\'t show much yet in the games from what I can tell with the small things in the games. But overall, the 360 is a fire hazard. I would not buy it yet. My roommate was lucky enough to buy a working one, but this is a rushed Micro$oft product. Hell they even skipped some beta testing. My advice if you want one is to wait later for Micro$oft to properly correct the issues. You will be taking a risk on it if you buy the ones coming out before Christmas.

Good.  That\'s the one game we ordered.  Don\'t get it for a while though...but we still play the regular game.  That and rush 2.

Im not sayng that the 360 is perfect but for some idiot in efflixi\'s link to say that its complete garbage and  ripoff is the most ridiculous, biased, and unsupported thing I\'ve ever heard. And of course, bnoth the system and the games will be come cheaper and better as time progresses. Everyone just wants to be a cynic about it when they really lack the xperience to make any valid argument. Heck its been out for about a week, the guy doesnt ven own one, how could he possibly rwrite anything with any knowledge behind it. He can\'t, and therefore he is an idiot, and then Valbrandr, no offense, says the article made his day, which made me a little mad that the guy is even getting support.
