Whats good about this game?

Well, long story short. A friend and i were looking for new games, specially games where we could team up and have fun.
In search for games i came with this one, so i want you to tell me, can you give me a short description of the game good points and bad points? maybe even a comparation with other games.

There are many, many, many, x10000 posts the same as this asking the same questions and they\'ll all have the same answers.

Planeshift is at version 0.3 and is in Alpha development. It is fully open source and free, run by a very small team of volunteers with zero budget. 0.3 means we still have 7 version to go before the game is considered somewhat \'Beta\' or even possibly complete, though development will never truely cease.

Well, this is a game about role playing. A rare quality for an MMORPG. Most MMORPG\'s just revolve around being the best. This game revolves around role playing, getting to know people, living your life, strong or weak.


There\'s plenty of monsters and NPC\'s. Plenty of weapons to buy or loot. This is more or less a player run game, as in stories are built by players and continued by players. You can mine, kill and loot monsters, become a merchant, etc...

Newly added were pets, or groffels.


The bad thing about this game is it being 0.3. There still plenty of bugs, but that comes with the territory. Bugs and all it\'s still a great game. There\'s really nothing bad to say about the game itself, I like it.

The people who play it.

There are all sorts here, good and bad, but most of them are incredibly creative.
