Try phpnuke? it should contain quite alot of functions and it won\'t complain about not getting any pay

The software PHPNuke is free, but that doesn\'t mean that it includes something like free hosting - you still need webspace to upload the stuff to - even worse, it requires a database, and not many free hosting services (that have a reasonable amount of advertising) offer this.

Furthermore, using phpNuke is like wearing a \"please hack my web-page\"-sign on the forehead.

Anything that uses php is wearing that sign. These entries in my error_log are just few hours old and sometimes I have a feeling that my error_log gets far more entries than access_log:

Now the reason i posted that suggestion was that i don\'t have time, personally, to do an unpaid job designing a whole website with everything included(forum, chat, etc..)! and if you read his post you could see that he actually wants a free host(\"I wont be paying for any domain names or any hosts\") and i see no way you could go around making a website with all the things he requested without a database.

now i would say that just  incase nobody else was interrested then he could look at phpnuke or another website template

to be more specific i want a website with chat and forums. I want a domain name that no one pays for. Obviously if i wanted someone to pay for it no one would take the job. Im not looking for a professional website (maybe in the future) but for now all i want is a place where a guild can be outside the PS forums and IG.

Might I suggest, if you have time, that you take up HTML.  Therer are a lot of very good tutorials out there and you can write your own pages with very little difficutly simply using notepad once you learn the language.  There is also a website out there (http://www.squarefree.com/htmledit/) that will allow you to see the changes in HTML code that you make as you make them (although you should have high speed internet if you use it.).  You can use a free host like Yahoo! Geocities and use a free message board from Bravenet.  At this point in time that is what I\'m doing for my website.  If you want a unique url you can always get a .tk account and attach it to the url for your website (eg. http://www.geocities.com/thissite/index.html could apear as http://www.thissite.tk with only a little bit of advertising before the page loads and a pop up.).

I am Arew Silverwing, and one day I will rule the WORLD!:D
All y\'all stick yourselves onto the board.

Eh... What the hell, I\'m looking for a challenge :P

Link me to some background info about the guild and I might be able to make a design of some sort and it could be hosted under the big ps-mc.com umbrella (you\'d get http://guildienamethingy.ps-mc.com/ , a set of forums, and a few email accounts ( hellios@guild.ps-mc.com )

For chat, online chats are not a great solution. It would probably be better all around to use IRC. PlaneShift developers and fans like IRC as well, and we host GM meetings, dev meetings, fun discussions, and give help building and debugging planeshift using IRC. The meetings are private, but the two channels people might like to know about are #planeshift and #planeshift-gmtalk . The first is for general discussion of Life, the Universe, and Everything (well, almost everything ;) You\'ll get a bap with a rubber mallet if you get too rowdy), the second for contacting a GM about an ingame issue.

On windows, your client may take advantage of irc:// links, which would enable links like http://irc://irc.freenode.net/planeshift.

Useful links regarding IRC:
IRC tutorial -- PlaneShift page about getting on IRC. The instructions are pretty similar for all clients, and it contains useful info regardless.
HydraIRC -- HydraIRC,  the \"professional IRC client\" (whatever that means! ^^) a good windows-based client that I used for a while
XChat2 for windows -- The author of XChat decided to start charging for the windows version, so someone else made a free package from the same sources. There is nothing illegal about this package afaik and it is acceptable under the terms of the GPL. Don\'t use the xchat link from the planeshift guide, that will get the trial version!
mIRC\'s Intro to IRC -- A good read for the novice.

If you or a guildie decides to drop in on the #planeshift IRC channel, remember that just because it\'s in realtime is no excuse not to type properly and use real words (as opposed to \"u\" and \"r\") ;) In fact, that goes for all of you :P

Erhm. I think I went off on a bit of a tangent there.

If you\'re interested in PS-MC hosting for you, stop by our IRC channel at #ps-mc on irc.freenode.net

Cheers
