:D

I love spending time in the Death Realm. I have made a new character for that purpose and really enjoy that place  :] I will help you if you want to get out of it, but only if you tell me a good story. I have spent too many years in Death Realm, have lost any connections to the outer world and would really like to hear, who it is now ;) And a mug of beer helps as well ;)

And I am not a librarian there. I do read a lot of books there, but you have to look for the real librarian if you have some specific needs.

I have spent quite a bit of time exploring the DR and have found several spots with clear walkways or paths, but which are completely inaccessible.  I tried every which way to jump down to some spots, but always ended up getting killed.  I wonder if these secret spots will ever be made accessible?

just outta curiousity, what is it about the DR that you find fascinating enough to live in? Is it that you feel closer to an evil god?
There are two types of people in this world: The Pinky and the Brain.
Which one are you?

I am conflicted.  A part of me wishes to be good and help people, another part wants to seek communion with evil.  During this search for my true self, I spend my time in the library, thinking.

Oh, like that giant demon-head with the stairs and stone table inside it?  (and no floor around the table, that was a bit of a nasty surprise...)

I\'m also curious about that top walkway that leads to the throne in the cathedral-ish hall.  The first time I was in the Death Realm, I must have wasted at least half an hour trying to find a way up to it.

Unfortunately it takes you nowhere. I spent a lot of time trying to get there as well and finally took a look using walktest.

Yeah, that\'s what I ended up doing too.   :)

I know it\'s cheating, but walktest and turning off the camera\'s hit testing have stopped me from going crazy trying to figure out a way to get places that there\'s not actually any way to get to.

Can you explain to me what walktest is and how to enable it?  Some sort of cheat?  Even if there is nothing in these places, I would like to check them out.

Walktest is a CS (Crystal Space) utility that you may either compile yourself (you\'d need to compile all of CS in that case), or if you are on Windows, download the binary (installation): scroll down for the Binary Artist Package. Walkest is basically an application that allows you to load maps built using the Crystal Space engine, mainly for testing purposes. It is not a cheat, any more than analyzing game models with viewmesh is. Check this CS wiki section on walktest.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

So I am thinking about writing up a back story for my kran character and was wondering if there are more sources for kran history other than what is written on the main PS site.  I don\'t want to write anything that would be OOC for my story.  I have done a search here in the forums but can\'t seem to locate any good kran legends and lore threads.  If anybody knows of any, please post links here for me. Thanks.
