Planeshift scripting

Is it planned to have an expandable scripting in PS?

It would be really useful to add new game features without touching internal stuff.
For an example take the Never Winter Nights scripting, or the Unreal engine one.

Most of our scripting is done using XML. At some point we can publish the format and various commands available.
