The more details you can post about your problem, the better we can help you. We\'re not mindreaders, so we can\'t possibly have anything to aid you if this would\'ve been a completely new and strange bug.

However, as it is, please try disabling sound, or switching your game skin. Options for both are available in the PlaneShift setup application.

Moreover, there\'s this really awesome thread named READ THIS BEFORE POSTING! that could have told you this much quicker ;)

You will have to update your graphics card driver :)

If you don\'t know what graphics card you have, point to the Start button and click Run. Type \"dxdiag\" (no quotes) in the box and press return. In the new window, go to the Display tab, and read \"Name\" and \"Manufacturer\". \"Name\" is the name and model of your card, and \"Manufacturer\"... is self-explainatory.

For NVidia, visit http://www.nvidia.com
For ATI, visit http://www.ati.com
For anything else, use http://www.Google.com to find the correct manufacturer address.

Woops, went way over my head ;) My bad. Updating graphics card drivers -should- make the No Hardware Acceleration bit go away, as well as fix a few other problems. Give it a try?

But did you update the drivers? Go to your card manufacturer\'s website and check for the latest ;)

Also, have you followed the instructions I gave you in the beginning?

Heh :)

Let\'s try this again. Go to Start -> Programs -> PlaneShift Crystal Blue -> PlaneShift Setup. Choose \"Off\" under Sound Options, then click the \"Skins\" button, and choose a skin different from the default. I can\'t decipher you doing this from your post, so if you have indeed tried this, I apologize. If not, you should do that now. This should fix the access violation errors.

Also, if you\'re going to ATI.com the language should be English. This is where you download the driver from.
