And that engine is based on a quite plausable theory, but is untested, extremely hard to follow (like only 5 guys on this planet actually have a very good idea of how it works), and we don\'t have the materials available to build an experiment to test it yet... so it\'s unlikely that anyone is actually building something like that.... yet. Of course, if the theory is correct then we can travel to Mars in 3 hours. :)

Edit: Oh yeah, I read a very good article on it in New Scientist Magazine.

That is law is bogus.

I talk to extra-terrestirals all the time and I never got in any trouble for it.

There are many places like area 51, its just the most well known one. They just design and test weapons for the military.

And if you wanna know how you get into area 51 theres a white plane with a single red stripe and nothing else on it that leaves las vegas airport every day...
Lol Internet

well either way something had to have put us on earth or something that was put here evolved into us... Just think it\'s obvious it\'s not exactly easy to start life from no life. I think teachers are starting to teach to students that Humans were put here on earth...

No.  All you need is a highschool level understanding of biology to know that\'s bull.

Yeah well and a bit of chemistry too.

You know the stuff, electricity, molecules, organic chemistry, one celled organisms, multiple celled organisms, fishies, fishies tired of the water so they crawl out of it, and the whole rampatamp after that.

---> Humans.

I don\'t have chemistry anymore since I\'m in a filmschool now, but I guess that\'s how it went if I remember clearly.

you\'re thinking of the apollo 11 conspiracy where they faked the first moon landings. which did happen. though the problem with your evidence is that there were other landings which could have placed the reflectors.

but apollo thirteen, well they never made it back... ooops i\'ve said too much.

the conspriacy surrounding apollo 13 is that they never made it back.

most of the story is well known. the thing is that their return orbit was too wide. they were a few hundred pounds too light, with no real guidance, flying a minimally controled craft. end result they were about 50-75 miles high in their return orbit. as a result they skipped off the earth\'s atmosphere. the resulting orbit has something like a 150 year period. the nasa scientists at the time figured it about a day or so before their \"return.\" enough time to rig up a previous apollo capusule to the bottom of a bomber. the capsule was dropped to simulate the return of apollo 13.

the clues:
1. the radio sign off of apollo 13 upon touch down. radio was deemed a non-critcal component for the power up the caspule upon return.

2. the longer then normal \"blackout\" period of the capsule upon re-entry. you can calculate this pretty tightly.

3. the capsule was located pretty quickly after splash down. they were coming in controlled and very off trajectory they would have come down anywhere.

4. the \"crew\" was shuffled quickly from chopper to chopper on the carrier. they had their caps pulled down. you never do get a good look at their faces.

there are other clues as well.

the conspiarcy works because the nature of events allowed for a very few people to know about them. for example, the control room staff didn\'t need to need to know about things.

the reason this was all done was simple american pride and one upmanship of the soviets. the americans has not lost a man in space. the soviets had had a couple die up there by this point. so to keep their edge the american faked their return.
