SOMEONE LOCK THIS THREAD.  It is redundant and useless.  just a bunch of complaining, which isn\'t always bad, but there is ANOTHER thread on this with possible solutions, not just complaining!!!

To paraphrase that in nicer terms:

The people who visit the Guilds Forum don\'t massrecruit. They aren\'t likely to view this. People who do visit the forum already tend to do whatever they can to avoid and prevent massrecruiting from occuring. The Wishlist thread seems better suited to continue this in :>

Alright, go ahead and lock it if you must. I start checking the one in the wish list.

*sigh*  If a guild is successful, then maybe they\'re doing something right.

If a guild fails, then maybe they\'re doing something wrong.

It\'s ok to have very large guilds and very small guilds at the same time.  It adds flavour to the game.

If someone is just going to powerlevel, then why care about what guild they join?

I believe Sangwa\'s argument against massrecruiting / \"powerleveling\" is that it snatches up a lot of newcomers without showing them the real flavor of PS - the roleplay. At least that\'s what I have gleaned so far :> I haven\'t come across many powerleveling guilds myself, if at all, so I\'ve really nothing to add to the argument.

I\'m going to close this if no one minds - the Wishlist thread is a bit better suited to suggestions, both for game mechanics and the community. However if anyone wants to have this open as well and thinks they can contribute better here than in the Wishlist thread, feel free to PM me :)
