RPG games are Role-Play Games, so what it basically means is that you act as your character, instead of the person sitting behind the computer or on the couch with a controller :) You\'re no longer acting like your Earth self, but the character on your screen - an elf, a dwarf, an Enkidukai, or something quite different like the Kran. You put yourself in the game world (Yliakum) entirely, and try to act as your character might. That means you have to have some ideas concerning your character\'s personality, history, and some behaviors. It can be quite fun thinking all this through and making your choices. This is the part of the character that matters most in PlaneShift - his or her personality, the way he or she acts. So when you\'re out slaying monsters, you have to do it in the way your character would do it - he may be a bloodthirsty Enkidukai, or a careful Diaboli assassin, etc. There is a really handy
Guide to Roleplay in the Hydlaa Plaza section of the forum that may explain this concept better than I can at the moment ;)
But that\'s the basic summary of it.
