Don't really know how to start

Hello,

this may sound pretty silly to most of you, but i don\'t have a clue how to \'really\' start playing with my char and making him better. It\'s a dwarf (miner) and i thought like \"Ok, you probably get a pick axe or something from start and now get your a** into a mine....\", but well ok i got no money, no weapon, armor... and no point where to start.
I wonder how you can better with nothing as start equipment - or is there a region somewhere with stuff lying around or so? I found 1 gold ore until now but it seems i will need a lot more when i want a pick axe sometime...

There is a thread marked Important: Getting Started In-Game, as well as Gameplay FAQ. Please look around and read before asking questions, because there is a rather excellent chance that they have been asked and addressed before ;)

thank you for your advice, but I must admit that i already read that threads. Maybe it\'s just me but i got some strong orientation problems inside the city too, ah and come to speak of the death world  ...... ;) ok i\'m quiet already

The FAQ explains some locations, how to get money, and how to mine. You\'ll have to familiarize yourself in-game by... well, exploring in-game :) There\'s nothing else anyone can do for you in the forums at the moment.

Man I just read this and i think the game is confusing, but really I think I just need to look around and look through the guid. But I don\'t know it still seems confusing. Could u tell me where to go or what to do when I start?Although I havnt played the game befor becasue the server is down(sighs).
I hope it clears up when I play it.

I have posted links :) Have you read the links? What else needs explaining, specifically? Is there something that you totally not understand, even after reading all of the information available both in the Player Guide and in the helpful stickies made in this forum? Please look around first before asking questions :)

Yes I did read all the info u gave me, but im still not getting the game...im sorry im not the best at RPG games, but I would like to get used to or better at them. O and one more thing, do u think you know when the server might b bak on? Becasue i started the game 2 days ago and the server is still down, so I dont know how im going to be able to get used to it.I hope it comes bak soon.

There is something up at the server right now, and we\'re not exactly sure what it may be. Rest assured that people will be working on it however, and it won\'t be left as is. We just need a bit of patience :) There are various threads created in the forum (Server Announcements and Forum Issues sections) that could give you a -bit- more information, so do try reading through them.

Now as I asked, what is it that you specifically do not understand about the game? :) \"Where to go\" and \"what to do when I start\" have been answered by the \"Getting Started In-Game\" thread, so what else may I help you with?

Well when I looked through the info and guid I saw all these commands... and buttons, I though to my slef, Thats a hell alot of comands. And for I looked through the guid and didnt find anything for moving. So if ur nice enough could u give me the link to the moving part.=)
