What is VFS? (Is it Virtual File System?)
Probably yes - I always expected that meaning; "Gothic" uses a similar system: Game data files have a logical place in a virtual tree of directories, but can be loaded out of different archives.

OK, I finally got it to work. In psserver.cfg, I have to replace characters.zip for models.zip.

Thanks everyone.

Removed models.zip and replaced with npcs.zip and characters.zip, so now psserver
and psclient use the same zips for models. <-- from CVS.
