I might get jumped for saying this.. but I think the US was cheated in the match vs Italy.  Mastroeni did not deserve a Red card.. a yellow yes with a warning but not a red... He was disqualified for a studs up tackle?  Come on.  The Italian player was DQed for a flagerant foul.. he should have been Red carded... and Im not gonna argue Pope.. because he already had one yellow. But the US was put in a position to tie or lose the game.  All the announcers, even the Italian ex coach or player (cant remember) on ESPN said the American team didnt win becuase of the refs.  They need to let the players play the game.  America was put at a 9-10 disadvantage for nearly the entire second half.. and we still pulled out a tie.  If only Mcbride would have not been offsides.. that Beasley goal would have counted and there would be no controversy.

@Valbrandr- i agree the ref was pretty bad, and he has been suspended from being in last world cup, and there were bad calls on both sides of the field, but the US didn't play extraordinary or anything.. The only goal we did get was because italy put it in themselves and we got lucky. I think getting a draw with Italy is really a win. But yeah, i felt like i was kind of ripped off by seeing a 9 v 10 for the second half.

My pick is......... bah, i don't know, i just like seeing everyone go crazy. But i bet someone will get killed over it! buh.. thats sad..

Yeah, the only thing I would add.. is that if that Italian player hadnt kicked it in, the US had a guy in position (Mcbride I think).. But I will agree.. the US atleast deserved a tie.. but no more terrible refs.. I heard a good quote after the game

"Players win the game, Coaches lose the game, and referees ruin the game"

You're all wrong! The Dutch will prevail! (I bet on them, so they better do).
And the trainer of the aussies is actually a Dutch spy, moewhahaah! (I'm serious, he's Dutch).
We also have a spy on Korea, another dutchman.
We rule the football world!  ;D
*cough, cough*
The Dutch? Are you serious?
Well, if there's one thing I can tell you for sure, then it is that the Dutch team won't become world champion. By the way: I can't remember the time when there was a Dutch world champion.... oh, wait, of course not, because there never was. ;D
They were quite close, though, in 1974 and 1978, but the Dutch were stopped by Germany (which, by the way, will hopefully win this time) or Argentinia respectively. And to finally shatter you hopes, I'll just mention that both Germany and Argentinia are there this time, too, ready to prevent the Dutch team from becoming world champion.

That's it, so far. Good night, and good luck!

So...Are you being serious at all? The dutch just came out of a group also known as the poule of death. I can't say much good about the poule germany was in, a broken Poland and some south american country nobody put hope in anyway. The dutch are already through, we survived so that means it can only get easier from now on considering we beaten both a very strong Ivory Coast and strong defending (at least for our match) Serbia & Montenegro. We'll see what happens tommorow in the match against Argentine. If we beat them then i'll keep an eye out on Holland if I were you.

We're already though to the next round, Argentina wasn't able to stop us! We still have to play against them and I think it's going to be a nice match, but even if we win I don't care, because we're still through!
And you know the Dutch just own the entire football world right? The reason we haven't won for a while is because of this conspiracy of all the other football countries against us.
And to add: Germany is going DOWN!
We're not evil. We're simply amazing.
