Resting

Hi. Is there a way when I want to have a rest maybe to get a coffee or a glass or 2 of wine that I can stand somewhere without bieng attacked. I do not want to quit the game just for the sake of a minute or so. I just did that and a rogue appeared from nowhere and killed me lol.

There is no way to designate your character as "AFK" and therefore immune to attacks right now, so you'll just have to find a safe area while you run off to take care of things. Maybe climb a rock or something :}

yea, the problem with implementing one of these features is that if you are about to day, you could just go 'afk' until someone kills the beast killing you.  Just find a safe place from creatures.  Generally, they won't appear out of nowhere, but if you are still afraid, they won't generally spawn near npc's or in either so go next to one of them. [I haven't seen any in water either]

The closest thing you can compare AFKing with (regarding a paralel to RL) would be sleeping. So... try this: go sleep in the middle of a psck of hungry lions and see what happens .
On second thoughts, don't try that because you won't see what happens, ask a friend to try it and watch
Or... try the tavern or another town building while afking. that might work too ^_^

i usually climb something...like a building to get away from them

i also go afk in heavily populate areas like hydlaa plaza...

if you have ot elave in a place where an npc can get you i would suggest going in the next room or something if possible

just get on a roof, npc cant get up there . none that i know of neways
