« on: August 03, 2006, 03:01:45 pm »
Whenever i try to use planeshift i get a message saying that the runtime has requested that the program be terminated in an unusual way. This happens whenever i use Planeshift just after the game loads. Can anybody help?

Hello

Can you post your system specs, OS included, and mention if you have patched/updated successfully if you're on Windows?

The exact same thing is happening to me, i logged out in the upstairs of the tavern earlier thismorning, now i cant get back on :/. Im on Windows XP, 512 RAM, AMD 3100+ processor, Raedon 9600XT... its just randomly happened... i was playing ealier today..

Thanks
Hart

EDIT- all that was needed was a reboot. i think it had something to do with the memory leaks.

I get this error each time I quit the game. It's a Visual C runtime error.

I have patched and updated the game.

Specs:
Windows XP pro, AMD Athlon XP 1.5 GHz, 512MB RAM, Ati Radeon 9000 pro with 128MB Vram

If you are getting it when you quit the game, that's pretty much "normal" behavior and nothing that we have a fix for at the moment. It doesn't interfere with your gameplay, so it's not as big of a deal as some other current bugs.

Im pretty sure its because when you quit PS the memory leaks keep procceses running in your task manager, processes tab, go there and end and of the "psclient" processes and then try again.
