Skin problems

This is the problem:

In the pssetup the standart skin is the elf    but when i trie and change to the default or the stone/rock   skin   it doesnt work
I mean i select it clikc ok and then run game but it never works.

HELP ME im sick of the elf skin!!

Sometimes it helps to

- select the other skin and click OK; again select the other skin and click OK; then close the setup and run the game

or

- select the other skin and click OK; then close the setup
- start the setup again; select the other skin and click OK; then close the setup and run the game

At least one kind of double-selection worked for me.
