I am happy to announce that the Bank of Hydlaa is now open. Sheryl Sandre will be its first manager.
The bank is situated on the plaza, in the building with white/red colums.

First, something about the services provided by the Bank of Hydlaa.

• Loans, currently at 5% interest per month. 10% of the Loan has to be backed up by items if an individual borrows the money (exceptions made). If a guild gets a loan, there is no need for backup.
• Investment in the bank. Whomever invests in the Bank of Hydlaa will get his share of the profits, relating to the money he put in. Later, there will be a fixed interest rate but now right now.
• Deposit boxes. The Bank offers depostion of items and their transfer between Ojaveda and Hydlaa. The charge will be 1 Tria per pound per day, paid 7 days in advance, rest on pickup, for a transfer between Hydlaa and Ojaveda the charge will be 2 Tria per pound. Also, pickup can be on password.
• Direct Transactions. Everyone can trade via the Bank of Hydlaa. Items stored in the deposit boxes and Trias on accounts can be transfered directly to someone else's deposit box/account. Pets [/tell] can carry the messages to our executives. Once every participant agrees the transaction takes place. This service is totally free of charge.

The Bank offers several long-term jobs (Defined as ranks).

• Clerk. Performing what he gets told by his superiors.
• Public Relations Assistant. Advertising the Bank of Hydlaa
• Public Relations Manager. Thinking of advertising strategies that his assistants execute.
• Sales Assistant. Takes care of the minor transactions of the Bank
• Sales Manager. Gives orders to his assitants and manages buying/selling
• Local Manager. Takes care of his Section of the Bank.
• Accountant. Takes care of the accounts and deposits of the investors and distributes money. This job is currently assigned to the Manager of the Bank of Hydlaa.

Payment will be based on total profit at the beginning.

How are you going to handle item deposits? It would seem to be against the rules to use spare characters as mules / item holders. I am not sure if that is one more "unwritten rule" but it seems to me I have seen that stated authoritatively here on these threads somewhere.

When it comes to item mules, the only thing that GMs don't like is to see them parked by NPC spawns. Other than that, it's really hard to avoid needing more storage space sometimes, so... :} As long as you don't have all your mules hanging around the bank doing nothing, there's really nothing wrong.
