The furnace and stock casting seem to work fine. The forge is not working. I had Book of Blades in mind and the proper amount of stock...it said it wasnt sure what was to happen...           Nice looking hammer btw ;) but it appears in Harquists 'mining tools' section

I also thought that furnace and stock casting worked. But today i noticed, that i didnt get any practice points for melting iron or casting stock. Also, when i wanted to melt the iron ingots in the furnace, the ingots turned into piles of dust after some time, without ever turning into molten iron before.

you can melt ores now, make stocks out of them, but you can't heat the stocks.
The forge is still broken.

So no one can get beyond the part of melting and making stocks and because of this you can't craft weapons or shields.

Ok.  you must get this asked in game alot. but i cant find any up to date info on the matter so i thought it might be best to bring back this topic.

 Is there someone working on the forge atm? Will it be working abain in the near futur? Is there something wrong that you can not find right away? 

please enlighten me  on this matter.

what you are using is the furnace, that one isnt broke. atm you just cant use your steel to make weapons.
