American football is for wimps, covered in pads and a cup of all things? HURLY (sp?) is the mans sport, closly followed by rugby.

LOL, If I went to Ladbrookes in the UK and said 'I want to bet on the Saints' They would look at me like I needed serious help lol

Basically because they wouldnt know what the hell I meant.

And even though you posted something that I think may have been scores Datruth, I have no idea what they actuall mean lol, they look like cricket scores.......... And I also have no Idea what the scores in cricket mean lol

Ot Anyone else notice Beckham signed with a California team? Maybe he could become a placekicker for the Rams (they still in Cali?)

I'd love to see the Saints win... I left a lot if blood and sweat in that city, and it's great to see the place rising from the ashes.

I'm gonna say the Pats will win it though... Pats vs. Bears 24-21... although I think I'll place money on New Orleans anyways.

As for superbowl gambling... I'm not even sure if I can watch the superbowl, even with upgraded cable, let alone get specific details about exactly what I'm betting on... (All I know is the Saints are from New Orleans, which was leveled by a hurricane. Somehow that don't sound promising...)

i've probably told this story before. back when i was at school, the bar i "lived at, had a draw for tickets to watch the super bowl on the big screens at the skydome. so i filled out a ballot, dropped it in the box. i left before the end of the afternooon. and guess whose name got drawn. /o\ oh well...

They beat the Patriots, 18 point COMBACK!! It was awesome, i loved that game.

Now it's Chicago bears, versus the Indianappolis Colts.
