You could always right-click on "My Computer"  and choose properties from the popup menu, device manager is linked from the properties. Of course that goesn't help if you don't have "My Computer" on your desktop which is the default for XP, I think.

Why are you spelling "my" "mi"? They have the same number of letters, you're not saving any time.

If the drivers don't work, your computer should default to the basic drivers, giving you a very ugly, but functional desktop to fix the problem from.

If you select the wrong one, your pc will probably explode, taking out both your house and probably your neighbours too. It'll also spread lots of toxic chemicals from inside your PC into the air creating a epidemic spreading for many miles. Hundreds, if not thousands will die from your actions.

Actually, nothing will happen!

That question was already answered... :]
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Gondric - It should be fine, if things go horribly wrong, it should fix itself and/or default to the basic driver, and if not, you can always start up in safe mode and undo the action.

And um, y is on the same hand as m.
