Customize your controls. Don't die by slipping down hills. Use the -fullbright cheat if you go to the death realm. Don't accept challenges from people. If you want money, beg. Then kill rats for "Progression Points", then beg for more money, then ask how to mine for gold. Don't speak out of character. Don't use leet. Be nice to the GMs. Light fires and leave them unattended. If you find a mushroom, eat it. Especially if it looks good. Don't use a weapon just because it looks cool - use weapons that you have the skill to use. Faster weapons are typically better. Use "m" to switch views until you find one you like (probably 3rd person or 1st person). Add nice people to your buddy list.
