Selling Body Parts

Hi All:

Thanks for the great answers on my newbie questions previously, I've got one other.

I've finally found the person to sell body parts to, but she does not want my rat hides.  Can rat hides be sold?  If not, are they used for something else?

Hides and body parts are different things. I hear Hydlaa's leatherworking trade isn't best anyway. Maybe try another settlement.

Seriously now .. hides are sold to tanners and they will probably be used to make leather, etc. in the future but not quite yet. They can be sold to NPC merchants though.

Now that I think about it, why would anyone pay money for pieces of dead things. Not even edible stuff but rat's tails.

I believe he is referring to the notion that there is no one that will accept hides in the DR and for that you must seek out the tanners of Ojaveda.

Whether that is true or not, well, someone can simply go in game and test that out.

No, you cannot make things with the rat hide at the moment. However, yes you can sell them for trais. Where can you sell them you ask? Well that is for you to find out and explore in game. Just ask those around you. Something to the effect of "Hello, I am new to these parts. Could one of you strangers tell me where I can sell my rat hides?"

  Usually people in game are very helpful if you are polite. We don't give hints on the forums and would prefer that the players find out for themselves in game. Good luck to you.
