Alright, here's a little taster for you. It's an experimental strip I did sans-artist (he was taking too long ).

I've been fiddling with scripts and plots a lot, so this is a bit different from the strip I gave my artist to do.






Before you ask - yes that's Chazarus in the first panel . He's there because I'm still trying to figure out what one of my original characters (Argetos) looks like. In the original plotline I have, Argetos is heading to the arena to bully rogues, rather than to the tavern to get drunk...

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Maybe you should make all the NPC characters in the comic strip reply with 
"You speak strangly, I am not interested in that" or
"No no, we will not manage to understand each other this way" or
"If you do not start making sence, I will have you commited" or even
"I will not give anything for free, try and earn your rewards...no tasks for you today"

I humbly disagree ^^ I think the ludicrously retardness is a bit... silly. I think you could do something a lot more clever with the NPCs. I agree they shouldn't make much sense, but just differently to what you have at the moment.

Just as an example you could have harnquist as a psycho killer mentality dude, maybe a very polite psycho killer mentality dude.

Eliseth: Hello Harnquist, I need help with these ores... could you...
Harny: Yes I agree! Daggers are most sharp indeed, and quite cute too, don't you think?

Well anyway, thats my view, being completely retarded will maybe be funny for the first two cartoons, but it will get boring eventually. Otherwise this whole cartoon is a potentially excellent idea.

Yeah, you're right. Which is why every NPC is weird and non-sensical in a different way. For example, the Death Guardian script I made a while ago...
