hmm, i seem to recall that time is something entirely engineered / percieved and only important to human beings... age is not the mother of wisdom nor of skill, for sure there are prodigies out there, and more kudos to them if they actually apply what they have in a beneficial manner...

As for myself I\'m just posting my two cents worth :D :P

Age matters only in that experience matters in a given field.  Older people generally have more experience in their chosen field, so they often do better.  Also, maturity sometimes increases with age (though this seems to happen less in America.)

My spelling and grammar change depending on haste, and the grammar of those around me. The worse theirs gets, the better mine gets.
As for Einstein, he had conflicts with his teacher: correcting the teacher is not always a good strategy.  Not doing algebra homework because you are working on calculus is also a bad strategy.  The majority of people who do badly in math are just bad at it, not so far ahead that they are bored.

Gee el, thanks, I guess. :p

It really is true though, most skilled programmers, seem to have good typing skills. I know a lot of very young people who are very skilled with computers, programming or otherwise. A lot of them can\'t spell english to save their life, but they aren\'t programmers either...

I also know a few \"programmers\" who actually can\'t spell, they are often called script kiddies in the circles where I spend my time. It really isn\'t intended as stereotyping, but it is based on personal experience.

I don\'t really think age has much to do with anything, as long as you are between 8 and 25 (and edeucated as a programmer), I\'ve met capable programmers down to the age of 8-9, not really state-of-the-art code, but fully capable of making stuff that works. If you are above 25 and work as a programmer; I would say that you atleast have to be a professional programmer. Maybe not the worlds best, but you can program by-the-book.

Wow, I\'m so tired that I am just writing a whole lot of gibberish, please ignore me.

PS: Sorry for spelling errors and such, as I mentioned, really tired.
Thanks a lot Venge...
